Connect any SMTP server

TL;DR
  • You need a host, port, username and password from your email provider.
  • Port 587 or 25 uses STARTTLS (secure option off); port 465 uses SSL/TLS (secure option on).
  • Set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your domain so emails reach the inbox.
Field What to enter
Host Your provider’s SMTP server, for example mail.yourbrand.com
Port 587 (recommended), 465 or 25
Use secure (TLS/SSL) On for port 465. Off for 587 or 25 (STARTTLS is used automatically)
Username / password The mailbox or SMTP credentials from your provider
From name How the sender appears, for example “Your Store”
Reply‑to Where replies should go, for example [email protected]

FlowSend stores your password encrypted at rest.

  • SPF record includes your provider.
  • DKIM signing is enabled for your domain.
  • A DMARC record exists (start with p=none and tighten later).
  • The From address uses the same domain you authenticated.
