FlowSend ‑ Flow Mail App is a Shopify app by Final Apps that adds a "Send email" action to Shopify Flow. It sends branded emails through your own SMTP server or domain, with Liquid templates, attachments, CC/BCC and delivery logs.
Who is FlowSend for?
Shopify merchants, B2B and wholesale teams, and agencies who use Shopify Flow and want to email customers, staff or suppliers from their own domain, for example invoices, alerts and approval requests.
How is FlowSend different from Shopify Flow's "Send internal email" action?
Shopify's built-in action is meant for notifying your staff. FlowSend sends through your own SMTP or domain to any recipient, including customers, with HTML and Liquid templates, attachments, CC/BCC, Reply-To and delivery logs.
Does FlowSend replace Shopify's order notifications?
No. Shopify's built‑in notifications keep working. FlowSend adds emails you trigger from Flow workflows, such as invoices, alerts and approvals, sent from your own domain.

Which SMTP providers work?
Gmail, Outlook, Apple iCloud Mail, SendGrid and any standard SMTP server. Enter host, port and credentials once; TLS or STARTTLS is picked from your port.
Do I need Shopify Plus?
No. Shopify Flow is available on all current plans, and FlowSend works wherever Flow does.
How long does setup take?
Most stores send their first email in about 10 minutes: connect your SMTP, create a template, then add the FlowSend action to a Flow workflow.
Will emails come from my own domain?
Yes. Emails are sent through the SMTP account you connect, so they come from your address, for example [email protected]. Set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your domain for the best deliverability.

Can I attach invoice PDFs?
Yes. Attach a file, or pass a file URL from a Flow variable so each email gets the right invoice automatically.
Can I use Liquid variables?
Yes. Templates support Liquid, so you can insert order, customer, line item and shop data from the Flow workflow, for example {{ order.name }}.
Can I see whether an email was delivered?
Yes. FlowSend keeps delivery logs with recipient, subject, status and time, plus your success rate and quota.
What happens if my SMTP stops working?
The failed send is logged with the server's error, and SMTP health monitoring flags the problem so you can fix your credentials.
